We all love crispy snacks and using pumkin flowers, which are edible, you can prepare Kakaharu Phula Bhaja, a pumpkin flower fritter. Pumpkin flowers are rich in vitamins and minerals like vitamin E, potassium, iron, and magnesium.

12 Khakaru phula (pumpkin blossoms), 10 tbsp Chaula chuna (rice flour), 4 tsp refined oil, 10 cloves of rasuna (garlic), 3 tsp jeera (cumin seeds), 2 sukhila lanka (dry chili), salt as required
1. Clean the flowers, remove the stems and soak in turmeric water for 3-5 minutes.
2. In a blender, add garlic, cumin seeds and dry chilli. Blend to a fine paste.
3. Drain the water and keep the flowers aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, add rice flour, ground paste and salt. Add water and make a semi liquid batter, which is neither too thin nor too thick. 5. In a kadai, pour oil for deep frying. Once the oil is warm, add the pumpkin flower coated with the batter carefully in the oil. Fry on both sides till crisp and golden brown.
Hot and delicious Kakaharu Phula Bhaja is ready to be served. Enjoy!
