    Ingredients to make Kusli:

1½ cups white flour, ½ cup semolina, 1/4 cup almond powder, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup raisins, 4 tbsp dried coconut, ½ tsp cardamom powder, 3-4 tbsp ghee

    Steps to make Kusli:

    1. Take a bowl and combine flour, salt and ghee to it. Add water to form a stiff dough and then keep it aside for 10 minutes.

    2. In a pan, heat ghee and fry semolina till it turns golden brown and aromatic. Transfer it to a bowl and then let it cool down.

    3. Add almond powder to semolina and also add cardamom powder, grated coconut and powdered sugar. Mix them well.

    4. Make lemon sized ladoos out of this mixture and keep them in a plate. Do this when the mixture is still hot so that it can bind up properly.

    5. Now take one part of the dough and roll it into a puri.

    6. Take the ladoo and keep it in the center of the poori. Fold the dough half over the filling to form a semi circle and seal the edges with your hand and press gently with a fork.

    7. Heat the oil in a pan and fry kusli in the oil till they turn golden brown.

    8. Drain them on a paper towel and let them cool down.

Place them in an airtight container.
