Quick and easy, Makai Korma is a special treat for your family. Corns are rich in antioxidants and help in boosting immunity and it is also extremely flavourful.

    Ingredients to make Makai Korma:

    1 cup fresh corn, 1 tbsp mustard seeds, ½ cup milk, ½ tsp sugar, a few drops of lemon juice, 2 tsp oil, salt to taste, 1 tsp cumin seeds, a pinch of hing, 2 green chiles, coriander leaves for garnishing

    Steps to make Makai Korma:

    1. Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.

    2. Add the green chillies and asafoetida and saute for 30 seconds.

    3. Add the corn, mix well and cover and cook for 2 minutes on medium-high flame.

    4. Add the milk, salt and sugar and cook on high for 2 minutes.

    5. Add the lemon juice, mix well and turn off the flame.

    Serve garnished with the chopped coriander.
