Mango Faluda with Jelly

Mango Faluda with Jelly is a quick and easy to prepare summer desert with full of mango flavours and wobbling jelly. This dessert is perfect to delight your sweet tooth. Mango is rich in vitamin C and vitamin A.

Ingredients to make Mango Faluda with Jelly:
1 cup finely chopped mangoes, ½ litre milk, 10 gm china grass, 6 tbsp sugar, 1 packet instant jelly mix, hot water as per given on jelly packet
Steps to make Mango Faluda with Jelly:
1. Wash and soak china grass for approxmately 10 minutes. Drain the excess water and grind it to a fine paste.
2. Boil milk in a pan. Boil till it reduces to its 3/4th quantity.
3. Cook china grass in 3/4 cup water in another pan. Cook till it completely dissolves. Add sugar and mix well.
4. Remove from flame and add milk and mix well. Pour it into a glass and let it cool and settle down.
5. Prepare jelly. Add the jelly mix to the boiling water; stir till it dissolves.
6. Pour this jelly into two glasses(filling each glass to its quarter) and allow it to set for few hours.
7. Once set, assemble the faluda, jelly and mangoes in a glass.
8. Add one layer of chopped mangoes in both glasses, then add a layer of faluda; top it with jelly and then again faluda.
9. Decorate with with remaining chopped mangoes. Refrigerate both the glasses before serving.
Chilled Mango Faluda with jelly is ready to serve.
