Methi rice is a delicious dish that can easily be prepared at home. This dish is made using methi or Fenugreek leaves, which are rich sources of dietary fibre, protein, Vitamin B6, copper, manganese, magnesium and iron. This makes methi rice both yummy to eat and highly beneficial for your health.

Ingredients: 1 cup rice, oil, 1-2 garlic cloves chopped, ½ tsp cumin seeds, 1-2 slit green chillies, ½ cup green peas, 1 ¼ cup methi leaves, ½ tsp garam masala, turmeric, salt.
Steps:
1. Cook the rice for about 20 minutes and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the dry spices. Add the methi leaves and peas and cook for a few minutes.
3. Add the spice powders and stir well. Next, toss in the cooked rice and salt and stir well with the rest of the ingredients.
4. Squeeze a little lemon juice into the rice.
Prepare this delicious rice dish at home today using this recipe and serve with raita!
