Misri is loaded with the goodness of milk and vegetable. Milk helps in strengthening of bones and veggies loaded with mineral are essential for health. Milk provides calcium, vitamin D, protein, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, vitamin B12 and zinc.

Contents
1 cup grated white gourd, 2 cups milk, 1 cardamom, 1 tsp ghee, few saffron strands, and sugar as per taste
1. First of all, peel and deseed white gourd, then grate it and keep aside.
2. Now take a heavy bottomed pan and heat it , add ghee and put cardamon.
3. After spluttering add grated gourd and stir fry for two mins.
4. Now add milk and mix well. When it starts boiling, simmer the flame.
5. Cook till desired consistency is attained and at last, add sugar and saffron.
It can be served lukewarm or cold.
