The Moong Dal Carrot Soup is rich in protein, which is very beneficial for your kid's health and boosts his appetite too.

Contents
½ cup moong dal, 2 tbsp ginger, 2 tbsp ghee, 1 cup chopped carrots, salt as needed
1. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick pan and add the ginger sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
2. Add the carrots and mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
3. Add the moong dal and 4 cups of water and cook for 7 to 8 minutes or till the carrots are tender.
4. Keep aside to cool slightly and blend in a mixer to a smooth purée.
5. Transfer the purée back into the deep non-stick pan, put 1 cup of water, salt and pepper, mix well and bring to a boil.
Serve immediately to your kid who is going to love this soup!
