Oats and sooji with mixed vegetables and flavoured with ginger, results in a yummy and healthy upma preparation called Oats Upma. Oats has fibre while sooji has carbohydrates. Veggies like carrot, beans and peas have vital vitamin and minerals. Oats Upma is a perfect breakfast dish since it is highly nutritious and tasty.

Contents
1 cup oats, ¼ cup sooji, 2.5 cups water, ½ onion, 1 tsp ginger, salt as required, ½ cup mixed vegetables, 1 tsp oil
1. In a kadai, add oil. Once the oil is warm, add ginger and finely chopped onion. Saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.
2. Add the veggies and saute for 3-4 mins. Add water, salt and bring the water to a boil.
3. Add rava and cook for 2 minutes. Then add oats.
4. Cook on low flame until the oats rava is blended well with the veggies and the entire moisture gets absorbed.
Oats Upma is ready to devour and relish. Serve warm.
