Okra is commonly known as ladies finger. This vegetable is loaded with fiber, which aids in the easy passing of a motion. It contains good amounts of vitamin A and vitamin C, which helps fight infections. Okra also contains folates.

Ingredients to make Okra Fries (1 serving):
Okra -50, besan, oil for frying
Steps to make Okra Fries:
1. Cleanly and thoroughly wash okra with water and chop the ends of the okra.
2. Make a half slit in between the okra and keep it aside.
3. Dry roast the besan and transfer it into a clean dry bowl, add chilli powder and cumin powder to the bowl, mix it with a little ghee and salt to taste.
4. Stuff this mixture in the slit of the okra and deep fry until crispy.
Serve this as a side dish or snack.
