    Ingredients to make Omapodi:

    Gram flour - 1 cup, rice flour - ½ cup, butter - 1 tbsp, hot oil - 2-3 tbsp, ajwain - 1/8 cup, salt – to taste, oil - for deep frying

    Steps to make Omapodi:

    1. Dry roast ajwain and grind it in the mixer with 1/4 cup water.

    2. Mix gram flour, rice flour, salt, butter, hot oil and the ajwain paste and mix well.

    3. Add water to make a sticky dough.

    4. Press through the omapodi press into heated oil in a circle. Fry till golden. Drain and serve.
