Onion Uttappam is a thick and spicy pancake made from fermented idli batter and onion. It is easy to digest and has good taste, loaded with healthy carbs.

2 onion chopped, idli batter as needed, 1 green chilli finely chopped, 1 tbsp ginger finely chopped, oil for cooking
1. Heat dosa pan, grease it with oil and pour 2 ladle full of batter. Spread gently into a thick circle.
2. SPrinkle onion, green chillies, ginger on top. Let it cook for few minutes on medium high flame.
3. Apply oil on top and flip the side once bottom is cooked. Cook from another side too.
Serve hot Onion Uthappam with coconut chutney.
