Pear Rabri is made by combining a traditional recipe with a fruity twist of pears. This is quick, easy, and yummy dish. Pear contains carotenoids, flavonols and anthocyanins.

2 cups low fat milk, ½ cup grated pear (with skin), ¼ tsp. cardamom (elaichi) powder, a pinch of nutmeg (jaiphal) powder, 2 tbsp. sugar
1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan and simmer it for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the pear, mix well and bring to boil by increasing the flame.
2. Simmer and cook until the pear is tender, stir and scrape the sides of the pan. Add the sugar, cardamom and nutmeg and mix well.
Serve either hot or cold.
