Poha Aloo Dosa is a filling and healthy dinner. Poha is a good source of iron and potato is most sought after vegetable. Combine this in dosa!

1 cup rice, 3 cups urad dal, 1 cup poha, 1 teaspoon methi seeds, salt, 3 cups water, 3 potatoes, 2 onions, 1 inch ginger, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, coriander leaves for garnishing, oil, roasted chana dal
1. Wash and soak rice and urad dal with methi seeds previous night.
2. Next day soak poha in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes or till poha is soft.
3. Grind urad dal with methi leaves . Grind poha along with this.
4. Grind rice separately. Add needed amount of water to grind.
5. Mix both the battery together.
6. Leave it to ferment overnight.
7. Next day prepare dosa with the batter. Batter should not be too thick. Add water if needed.
For the Stuffing:
1. Boil the potatoes in cooker, peel and cut into small cubes.
2. In a pan , add a teaspoon of chana dal. Once it splutters, add the ginger , onions and stir till onions turn pink.
3. Now add the cut potatoes and mix well.
4. Switch off and allow to cool.
5. Once it’s cool, add lemon juice.
6. Add one or two tablespoons of this mixture in the centre of dosa and fold it.
Poha Aloo Dosa is ready. You can prepare for dinner or breakfast.
