Using roasted gram and sugar, you can prepare a delicious sweet for your kiddo, called Power Ladoo. Roasted gram is rich in protein while sugar has carbohydrates. The sweet is flavoured with cardamom and nutmeg powder and is made more rich by adding nuts like cashews and raisins.

1 cup roasted gram, ½ cup sugar, ¼ cup ghee, 3 green cardamoms, ¼ tsp nutmeg powder, 3-5 cashews, 3-5 golden raisins
1. In a mixer grinder , grind sugar and cardamoms. Set this aside.
2. Add the roasted gram in the grinder and grind to a fine powder.
3. In a pan, add 1 tsp ghee. Add the cashews and saute for a minute. Add raisins and saute for another minute. Keep the nuts aside.
4. In the same pan, add ghee. Once warm, add the sugar cardamom powder mix and roasted gram powder. Keep stirring till it emits a good aroma and the mixture binds well. If required add one more tsp ghee. Switch off the flame.
5. Add the sauted cashews and golden raisins. Mix well and allow this mixture to cool.
6. Take small portions of the dough. Make small balls and delicious power ladoo is ready.
