Rava is made from durum wheat, so it has a good amount of fiber. That’s why it is digested slowly and keeps your stomach full to prevents you from overeating. It improves kidney function due to its potassium content. It is ideal for all those living an active lifestyle. It keeps the body charged throughout the day, helps one perform better and prevents the general sense of lethargy felt during afternoons mostly. Rava Paddu is a south Indian dish that has the goodness of rice along with rava. It is an easy to cook dish and a better option for breakfast.

Rice-1 cup, rava-½ cup, coriander leaves-few, curry leaves-few, salt-to taste and oil-1 tsp
1. Soak rice overnight and grind it in a blender.
2. Take rava, salt, rice powder in a bowl and mix it. Add enough water to get the dosa batter consistency.
3. Cover and keep it aside for 4-8 hours. Add curry leaves and coriander leaves to it.
4. Now grease the paddu pan with generous amount of oil and heat it on medium heat.
5. Once the pan is hot, pour the batter to each hole. Cover it and cook it for few minutes, then add few drops of oil to each and turn it over to cook the other side, it has to be golden brown on both sides.
Once the paddu turns golden brown on both sides, remove it from the pan and transfer it to a plate.
