Aratikaya Bajji or Raw Banana Bajji is a yummy snack. Banana is a good source of fiber. Banana Bajji is easy to make and you can make it easily as snacks or quickly if some guests come home.

2 raw bananas peeled, 1 cup besan, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, salt to taste, 1 teaspoon turmeric
1. Peel the raw bananas and cut into thin slices.
2. In a bowl , mix Besan, red chilli powder , turmeric powder and cumin powder. Add water and mix well into a batter. It should not be too thick.
3. Dip the banana slices into the batter and coat the slices evenly.
4. Heat oil in a pan . Oil should be very hot to fry the bajjis.
5. To check If oil is hot, drop a little batter into the oil . If it comes up immediately, oil is hot.
6. Drop the coated banana slices into the oil and fry in batches.
Serve Raw Banana Bajjis hot with tomato sauce or chutney.
