Paneer and basmati rice are the main ingredients used here in this yummy dish called Restaurant Style Pulao. Paneer is full of protein while rice has valuable carbohydrates. Make it at home today!

1 cup basmati rice, ½ onion, ½ cup paneer cubes, 2 tsp yoghurt, ½ tsp ginger paste, 1 green chilli, 2-3 sprigs of coriander and mint leaves each, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp ghee, salt as per taste, 2 cups water
1. Wash and soak the basmati rice for half an hour.
2. In a bowl, add ginger paste, slit green chilli, coriander and mint leaves, turmeric powder, 1 tsp ghee and salt. Mix well. Add the paneer cubes in this mixture and marinate them. Let them rest for 10 minutes.
3. In a kadai, add 1 tsp ghee. Add sliced onion and saute for 2 minutes. Add the marinated paneer mixture and stir well on medium flame.
4. Drain the water from the basmati rice and add the rice. Mix well for 2 minutes. Add salt as required. Please keep in mind salt has been added to the marinated paneer too.
5. In an electric cooker, add little ghee. Add the rice paneer mixture and 2 cups of water. If making the pulao in the same kadai, add 2 cups of water to the rice paneer mixture and cook on medium flame till the rice gets cooked and the grains are separate.
