As the name suggests, this is a savoury dish that can be also made sweet. Kordois is a popular snack item from the north-eastern state of Assam in India. This dish is loaded with proteins among a list of other nutrients.

Contents
2 cups flour, 2 tablespoons oil for deep frying, 1/4 cup spinach chopped, 1 tablespoon onion chopped, 1 tablespoon coriander chopped, 1 pinch nigella seeds/kala jeera, 1/4 cup grated carrot, salt
1. Mix flour, salt, chopped onion, coriander, nigella seeds, grated carrot, spinach and oil. Rub all the ingredients together.
2. With little water, knead into dough.
3. Roll small pieces of dough into rotis. Place straight cuts while keeping edges intact. Roll into kordoi shape.
4. Deep fry till crispy.
Serve Kordois hot with chutney.
