Siddu is basically a kind of bread usually found in Himachal Pradesh made of wheat flour. It requires some time to make and you can make them and use it for a couple of days. This a good food since it also has cheese added to it. So, dont think twice and wear your apron to give another surprise.

Contents
½ kg-wheat flour, 2 teaspoon-dried yeast, 1 cup-water (lukewarm), salt - as per taste, 250gm-cheese, 250 gm-paneer, 2-3 -green chilies, ½ cup-green peas, 2-3 tsp-groundnuts, walnuts, 2-3 tsp-garlic, 2-3 tbsp-ghee (clarified butter), 1 tsp-turmeric powder, 2 tsp-coriander or dania, 1 tsp-Fenugreek or methi, 1 tsp-other species
For Cover:
1. Take ½ kg of wheat flour add 2 teaspoon of dried yeast in to it and enough water to make soft dough.
2. Knead well, it can take at least 15 minutes, then leave until the dough is raised. It can take 5 to 6 hours. Ensure it is covered with something to avoid or prevent dust.
For Stuffing:
1. Grind boiled green peas, green chillies, groundnuts and flakes and other above listed ingredient well.
2. Then add chopped paneer and cheese and salt into stuffing.Now, the stuffing is ready.
To proceed:
1. Take out your dough bowl, break off small balls of it, dip them in flour and roll out to the thickness of around 2 mm.
2. Then spread 2 tablespoon of the stuffing paste over the centre of the dough circle, leaving about ½ cm at the edge.
3. Fold the dough in half fold the edge back over on itself then pinch the edges to firmly seal.
4. Now siddu is ready for steam
Then place the Siddu in a steamer or oven and cook for 15 minutes.
