Sindhi Pakwan is a popular North Indian dish and is delightfully delicious. It is also very healthy and beneficial for the health as it is made using whole wheat flour, which is a rich source of potassium, carbohydrates, dietary fibre, protein, calcium, iron, Vitamin B6 and magnesium.

Ingredients to make Sindhi Pakwan:

1 ½ cups of maida, 1 ½ cups of whole wheat flour, 1 tsp ajwain, 1 tsp. cumin, 1 tsp. crushed black pepper, 1 tsp. salt, ¾ cup of water, salt.

Steps to make Sindhi Pakwan:

1. Mix all the ingredients on a plate and knead into a soft dough.

2. Pinch out small balls and roll them out into small discs. Prick the surface using a fork.

3. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying and fry the discs till they are crisp and golden.
