Speckled Bubble Bars are just ideal for your child. It is so delicious that your child can not resist going for the second one. The sesame seeds in its ingredients contribute calcium and iron to your child’s diet.

¼ cup grated jaggery (gur), 1 cup puffed rice (kurmura), ¼ cup roasted sesame seeds (til), ¼ tsp. cardamom (elaichi) powder (optional), oil for greasing.
1. Melt the jaggery in a sauce pan over a slow flame and filter the jaggery liquid after jaggery melts down completely.
2. Transfer the jaggery liquid into a heavy bottomed pan and heat in a slow flame until it caramelises.
3. Remove from heat and add all the ingredients and mix well. Spread the mixture on greased tray and take a greased rolling pin and roll out to half inch thickness and cut into 3 by 1 inch bars and store in air-tight containers.
Offer these as energisers when your child needs to boost his energy.
