Strawberry Orange Jam

You can prepare a quick and delicious tangy sweet recipe called Strawberry Orange Jam using simple ingredients. For this recipe, you will need strawberries, which are rich in vitamin C, fibre, and minerals like potassium and manganese and orange, which are also good sources of vitamin C and potassium. Flavour this jam with sugar and orange zest and it turns out awesome!

Ingredients to make Strawberry Orange Jam:

5 cups strawberries, 4 oranges, 6 cups sugar, 1 tbsp orange zest

Steps to make Strawberry Orange Jam:

1. Peel the oranges and take out the seeds. Extract the juice. Keep aside.

2. Also, scrape the peel of the orange to get the zest

3. Take a deep pan and add the chopped strawberries and orange juice. Keep stirring for about 5 mins.

4. Switch off the flame and mash the strawberries very well

5. Add sugar and give a good mix. Add the zest too. Keep it on low flame and keep stirring till it starts to combine and set.

6. To check if the jam has set, take a spoon of the mixture in a chilled saucer. Once it comes to room temperature, run your finger on the jam and if it stays in two separate portions, its ready to be stored. If not, you need to cook for some more time.

7. Once its set, switch off the flame and transfer the jam in a dry container and seal it.

8. Once the container is opened, refrigerate the jam.

Delicious Strawberry Orange Jam is ready. Serve this jam with rotis, parathas, or bread. Enjoy!
