½ cup-masoor dal, 5 to 6-roselle (Tengamora), ½ tsp-paas phooron, 1/4 tsp-turmeric powder, 3 tsp-mustard oil, salt to taste
1. Boil the dal with roselles, salt, and turmeric powder.
2. In another pan, heat oil, and add the Paas-Phooron.
3. When it splutters, add the boiled dal. Cook on a low flame for 5-6 minutes and serve hot.
