Veg Kathi Roll

Kathi Roll is popular among people of all ages. But it is largely considered as unhealthy. We bring you a healthier version of the famous Kathi Roll which will provide you all the goodness of veggies without the harmfulness of Maida.

    Ingredients to make Veg Kathi Roll:

    1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 carrot julienned, 1 capsicum thinly sliced, 4-5 beans chopped, 1/4th cup peas, 1 cup shredded cabbage, tomato ketchup, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala, coriander leaves, salt, water, oil

    Steps to make Veg Kathi Roll:

    1. Make a soft dough using wheat flour, salt, and water. Cover and keep aside.

    2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan; add all the veggies. Add chili powder, garam masala, salt, and mix well.

    3. Saute the veggies for 1-2 minutes. Cover and cook on a low flame until the veggies are cooked.

    4. Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten the dough ball using a rolling pin.

    5. Heat tawa and gently transfer the roti on it.

    6. Cook the roti from both sides.

    7. Smear tomato ketchup all over the roti. Add veggie mixture to one side of roti and roll the roti tightly to make a wrap.

    Serve immediately or pack in your kid's lunch box.
