Watermelons are rich in potassium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron and magnesium and hence are extremely good for health. There are several recipes that you can try out with watermelons. Here’s a simple and easy recipe. Watermelon Rose Cooler is a refreshing drink which is made using watermelons and sabja seeds. Sabja or Basil seeds are rich in flavonoids and antioxidants, which add to the nutritional value of this drink.

Ingredients: 4 cups of chopped and deseeded watermelon, 5 tablespoons of rose syrup, 1 teaspoon of sabja seeds, 2 teaspoons of rose water, a few ice cubes.
Steps:
1. Soak the sabja seeds in half a cup of water and set aside for half an hour.
2. Strain and set aside.
3. In a blender jar, take the chopped watermelon pieces, rose syrup, rose water and ice cubes and blend into a smooth syrup.
4. Pour out into a tall glass. Top it with the sabja seeds and serve.
Simple, isn’t it? So go ahead and whip up this delicious drink!
