Yam Smoothie- sounds weird? Well, don't be surprised! Yam can be served in a smoothie form too and believe it or not, it is healthy yet tasty.

1 medium yams, 1.5 cup vanilla yogurt, 1 cup milk, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 ripe banana, ice cubes
1. Prick yam with a fork and cook in a microwave until tenders. Cool, peel and slice yam.
2. Combine sliced yams, yogurt, milk, sugar, banana and blend into a mixer to a smooth puree.
3. Add ice cubes and blend again.
Serve chilled Yam Smoothie.
