Almonds are a good source of protein, fibre and essential vitamin and minerals like Vitamin E, calcium and potassium. Combining almonds with jaggery, a good source of carbohydrates, you can prepare healthy and tasty almond meal. You can flavour this dish with raisins and cardamom powder too.

5- 10 almonds, 1 tbsp jaggery, 3-4 raisins, ¼ tsp cardamom powder
1. Blanch the almonds. Remove the skin and put them in a food processor.
2. Add the jaggery, raisins and cardamom powder.
3. Blend the ingredients in the food processor till you get a fine powder.
4. Delicious almond meal is ready. You can add it to porridge or any sweet like sheera.
