Salads are always one of the best nutritious options for your child. This salad has everything - chickpeas are rich in protein and calcium while citrus fruits are rich in Vitamin C, thereby it provides energy and boosts the immunity of your child.

    Ingredients: 2 oranges peeled and deseeded, ½ cup chopped apple, 1/4th cup pomegranate, ½ cup of chickpeas, salt, lemon

    Steps: 

    1. Soak chickpeas overnight, wash thoroughly and boil them.

    2. Mash chickpeas a little bit so that your child can eat them easily.

    3. Combine orange, apple, pomegranate, chickpeas in a bowl and toss it well.

    4. Add a little bit of salt and lemon to the mixture and serve.

    The salad is juicy and tangy due to the citrus fruits. Prepare this fresh salad and serve this healthy filler to your child. 

    Note: You can add fruits of your own choice or the ones your child likes the most. Banana is a great ingredient to add.
