Provide your child with daily doses of calcium, iron, minerals, and vitamins through a very popular Indian sweet: Dates Sesame Laddoos.

Ingredients to make Dates Sesame Laddoos:
½ cup sesame seeds, 8-10 dates deseeded and chopped, 1/4th cup milk, 1/4th cup jaggery, ghee for greasing palms
Steps to make Dates Sesame Laddoos:
1. Soak dates in milk for 1-2 hours. Deseed and mash them.
2. Dry roast sesame seeds on a low flame till turn aromatic.
3. Cool them and coarsely powder them. Add the seeds to mashed dates.
4. Add jaggery if required and knead to a soft mixture for 2 minutes.
5. Pinch off the little mixture and roll to balls. Grease your hands with ghee to avoid laddoos to get stick.
6. Roll them over sesame seeds.
Store the tasty laddoos in air-tight container.
