These Dhokla Squares not only taste good, they are also healthy since they are steamed, and they are rich in carbohydrates and protein.

1½ cups semolina, ½ cup curd, 2 tbsp oil, salt to taste, 1½ cups water, 1½ tsp fruit salt, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp sesame seeds, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
1. Combine the semolina, curds, 1 tbsp oil, salt and water in a bowl, whisk well, cover and set aside for 30 minutes.
2. Add the fruit salt and 2 tsp of water and mix gently.
3. Pour the batter into a greased pan and spread evenly. Steam for 12 minutes.
4. Heat the remaining 1 tbsp of oil, add the mustard seeds, sesame seeds and asafoetida and sauté on medium heat for 30 seconds.
5. Pour the tempering over the dhoklas and sprinkle with coriander. Cool slightly, cut into squares and serve.
