Egg Dal is rich in protein and fibre and is very beneficial for your child's health.

Moong dal 1 cup, onions 2 (chopped finely), tomatoes 2 (chopped finely), garlic cloves 5 (chopped finely), ginger 1 inch piece (chopped finely), red chili powder 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1/4 tsp, garam masala powder 1/4 tsp, salt to taste, ghee 1-2 tbsp, eggs 3, coriander leaves for garnishing
1. Pressure cook dal in half cup water.
2. Heat ghee. Add the finely chopped onions and fry till light brown.
3. Then put in the chopped garlic and ginger. Fry till soft. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes turn mushy.
4. Put in the turmeric, garam masala and chilli powder.
5. Fry for about 5 minutes. Now put in the cooked dal, mix well, and add salt to taste.
6. When almost done, break the eggs and pour directly into the dal. Keep stirring.
7. Remove immediately from heat. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with chapatis to your child!
