    Ingredients to make Heerekay Dal:

    Moong dal, ridge gourd, onion, vegetable oil

    Steps to make Heerekay Dal:

    1. Wash the dal and ridge gourd separately.

    2. Chop ridge gourd into small pieces.

    3. Combine the dal, onion and ridge gourd and cook in a pressure cooker for 10 minutes.

    4. Add salt, water and boil for 1 minute.

    Serve with rice or roti!
