Peanuts are a good source of protein and dietary fibre. Along with Jaggery, which is rich in carbohydrates you can prepare Soft Chikki. This sweet is an easy quick recipe and you will surely love it!

    Ingredients to make Soft Chikki:

    1 cup peanut powder, 3/4th cup jaggery,1 tsp oil

    Steps to make Soft Chikki:

    1. Saute the peanut for about 5 minutes. Remove the skin and grind to a powder.

    2. In a pan, add little water and melt the jaggery on medium flame. Try to get a thick jaggery syrup and filter the syrup to remove impurities.

    3. Grease a plate with 1 tsp oil.

    4. Add the peanut powder to the jaggery syrup and mix well. Spread this mixture on the greased plate.

    5. Allow it to cool and cut into desired shape.

    Tasty and nutritious Soft Chikki is ready. Relish the sweet.
