Orange Color Playful Phirni

Yummy orange looking milky phirni is a sweet dish loved by all. It has carrots, which contain vitamin A and helps to improve the eyes sight. It also contains the goodness of milk, which has calcium needed for healthy bone development. This yummy milky phirni contains pistachios, which are a good source of antioxidants and monounsaturated fatty acids, such as oleic acid.

    Ingredients to make Orange Color Playful Phirni (1 serving):

    Carrots – 100gms, milk -100ml, ghee -5gms, cooked basmati rice-15gms, pistachios -10gms, sugar -20gms

    Steps to make Orange Color Playful Phirni:

    1. Take a clean kadai, add ghee and grated carrots, sauté until soft.

    2. Add boiled milk in a pan, add sugar, basmathi rice, cook it until the rice turns soft.

    3. Add grated carrots and some cardamom powder and cook it well.

    4. Garnish it with pistachios when the phirni is done.
