Winter doesn’t just make feel cold on the outside but it also messes with the immunity, so this Warm up Porridge is considered as the best winter food and it boosts your immunity. Whole wheat is a decent source of several vitamins and minerals, while the spiciness of ginger, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg have medicinal value to fight against the common cold viruses.

1 cup wheat flour, ½ cup grated jaggery, 1 tsp butter, ¼ tsp. ginger powder, ¼ tsp cinnamon powder, ¼ tsp clove powder, just a pinch of nutmeg powder and water as required to make the porridge
1. In a heavy bottom pan, roast the wheat flour with butter in low flame taking extreme care to keep stirring constantly, so that the wheat is roasted well without getting charred.
2. Transfer it in a bowl and add water and mix it well without lumps, and then add them to the pan and bring the wheat mixture to a boil and add jaggery, and all the spice powders and cook until the porridge becomes thick.
3. Remove from flame and cool it. The porridge normally thickens, when it is cooled.
This Warm up Porridge will be the super food to tackle the cold winter.
