This is a great way to make the best out of your alone time with your little one. This activity strengthens his muscles and also helps him to develop his fine motor skills.

Requisites: Variety of lightweight scarves of different colours and patterns, Some colourful hanker-chiefs

Steps:

1. As you sit on the floor or in park, throw a scarf into the air and catch it in your arms as it floats back down, and ask your little one to do the same.

2. Throw another colourful scarf and tell your baby to hold out his arms that it falls in his arms only.

3. To make it much easier for your little one, wad the scarves into balls and throw them playfully at your toddler and ask him to get hold of it.

4. You can be more creative by putting one scarf over your head and another one in your son’s head and ask your little one to pull it off.

You can also play some jazzy music to keep your cutie-pies interest intact in the game. Make your cutie-pie enjoy this fun activity of catching a flying object which he feels is almost impossible to do.
