Your child is learning the basics of English Grammar at school. You can play a fun game of memory with your child wherein he gets exposure to Synonyms and also builds his word vocabulary. For the game, you will need 20 index cards, a pencil and atleast two players to do the activity.
Steps:
1. Write down 10 simple words and their synonyms on the index cards. May be you can divide the work wherein your child writes 5 words and its respective synonyms and the remaining words can be written by you.
2. Shuffle the cards and lay them face down on a clean table.
3. Each player will take any two index cards. If the words on the cards are synonyms then he gets to keep the cards and will choose the next set of 2 cards. If the cards are not synonyms, then the next player gets the chance.
4. The game continues and when all cards are over, the player with maximum cards is the winner.
This is a fun way to get your child learn more about synonyms. You can play with him either at rest time or get him to play when his friends come over. As you are writing with pencil, you can erase and write the next 10 words. This makes the game an ongoing process, thereby working on your child's memory as well as vocabulary.
Just as fostering your child’s cognitive, social and creative skills is essential for their success, securing their financial future is equally important. Investing in a life insurance plan, such as a 1 crore term insurance, can provide extensive coverage for your child's education and personal milestones. You can also use a term insurance plan calculator to easily find the right plan, coverage amount and premiums based on your budget and your child’s goals.
Adding term insurance to your financial strategy is a smart and affordable way to provide extensive financial security to your loved ones in today’s ever-evolving world.
