This is the correct age when you as a parent need to work on your child's feeding habits. Your child may spill water, milk or juice which is not a good habit. If your kid is not able to drink with a glass then make him learn how to the use of a straw.
Requisites: A glass and a straw which is of medium thickness.
Steps:
1. Demonstrate how to suck with a straw so that liquid flow comes up in the straw.
2. Warn your child not to suck vigorously. He might choke on the liquid.
3. Let your kid practice this activity under your supervision.
