Learning to cycle is one of the key activities that you must teach your child. It is a great exercise, and will help your child build strong muscles. Adding to it, cycling also helps in building stamina, that will help your child take up tough and strenuous physical tasks as he grows up.

Steps:
1. Take out your cycle and start riding it in front of your child. Initially he may be scared but seeing your enthusiasm and support he will join.
2. Now make him sit on his cycle and assure that you will not let him fall. Now ask him to slowly paddle and cycle as you hold him.
3. Instruct the rules of keeping left, taking a turn and how to balance with ease. With a few days of practice, you can remove the practice wheels and motivate him to ride alone. You will be amazed to see your child riding like a champ.
Cycling is a great exercise. It is said, 'if you learn cycling once, you will never forget it for life'!
