My Craft Collection: Fun with Tissue Roll

Team AckoFeb 8, 2024

The ability to control hand movement guided by vision can be improved in your seven year old through many fun activities. One such activity can be working with a used tissue roll. For this activity, you will need an empty tissue paper roll, colourful tapes, scissors and kitchen paper holder.

1 Get your child to tape the tissue paper roll with strips of coloured tape in no definite pattern.

    2. To make it look more vibrant, some stickers can also be pasted.

    3. Decorate the roll completely with tapes, stickers and slide it through the spike of the kitchen paper holder.

    4. Your decorative roll with the holder is ready to be part of your collection of art and craft work.

Besides working on improving hand eye coordination, creativity of your child, you can also take this as an opportunity to teach your child about the concept of recycling.
