This is the correct age when your kid needs to be taught about language and speech. There are numerous ways in which this can be practiced in order to make him capable of holding interactions without any hindrance. Story telling is one of them. This activity will help you child enhance his language skills.

Steps:
1. You can offer your child story books which are simple and does not contain complicated phrases. Choose something that your child is fond of reading and will also enjoy telling.
2. Ask your child to read it thoroughly and later recite the summary in his own words. You need to give your child time so that he can prepare his own version.
3. There might be words he won’t understand. Be there to guide him through. When your kid recites, your main task is to check his sentences and the way he speaks up. Your kid may feel shy, and fumble in anxiety.
4. Make him feel comfortable and promise an appreciation at the end of this session. This would surely boost his confidence.
You need to practice this task frequently to make your child develop good language!
