At this age, your child gets obsessed about Super-heroes and their super-powers. This activity will make your little one genuinely happy and super-excited at the same time, along with improving his pattern recognition skills too.

Requisites: Colorful yarns (stick to the theme), paper, colorful markers, glue

Steps:

1. Cut the papers in small squares and write the letter “S” (you can write the whole word) on all of them. If you want you can play it with numbers or letters also.

2. Line up your drawing-room chairs to make a “hallway”. Tape the letter “S” to the backs of the chairs, near places that your little one could string the yarn through.

3. You tie the string to the first letter “S” on one end of the hallway. And ask your child to take the yarn and string it through the backs of the six or four dining-room chairs (you can use 2 chairs also to make it simpler). But make a rule, that he has to go back and forth to find the rest of “S(s).''

4. He can choose his own order, but he has to string all chairs with the letters.

And your spider-web is ready! This needs your complete co-operation and co-ordination with your child. Help your child pull the strings thoroughly and keep encouraging him to find the letters and complete the web.
