With growing knowledge of words, your child can now do some brain storming with finding words! You can help your child improve his vocabulary and language through an interesting game.
Steps:
1. All you would need is two story books, a sheet of white paper and a pencil. Make sure you actively participate in this game to keep the little one interested.
2. Make the kid understand the rules of this game. The players need to search for a particular word in the book on 5 different pages. They need to note down the page number on the sheet of paper.
3. Select a rare word which doesn’t occur frequently.
4. Set a timer so that the game stays competitive.
This activity would surely enhance the kid’s focus and reading abilities. Be there to guide him when he is not able to function well. You can also offer hints in the initial games. Time to pull out his favourite story books and begin the task.
