Babbru

Babbru is a dish from Himalayan hills and is made from wheat flour that is healthy. It is a very easy recipe and is yummy in taste as well. This dish is full of vitamins.

    Ingredients To Make Babbru:

    Around 1 kg of wheat flour, some mustard or refined oil for frying purpose, half tsp of sugar, half tsp of yeast, 1 tsp of salt

    Steps To Make Babbru:

    1. Mix wheat flour with half a cup of refined oil and half tsp sugar.

    2. Mix very little water and knead dough. Now add yeast to this dough and mix well.

    3. Let it rest overnight so that it becomes soft and fluffy.

    4. Take a small portion of dough and roll it in a form of poori.

    5.Deep fry on low flame and then cook from both the sides till it turns brown.

    6. Serve it hot with tea or pickle or sweet mango chutney.

    This amazing snack is light on tummy and also keeps happy & healthy.
