Caramel Pudding

Surprise with this elegant and delicious Caramel Pudding. Made with the goodness of milk and eggs, this pudding is perfect to serve as an evening snack and contains proteins and calcium in it.

    Ingredients to make Caramel Pudding:

    2 eggs, 2 egg yolk, ½ cup sugar + 3 tbsp sugar for caramel, ½ litre milk, 75 ml water, 1 tsp vanilla essence

    Steps to make Caramel Pudding:

    1. Start with making the caramel. In a non-stick pan add 3 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp water. Heat until sugar is melted and caramelized.

    2. Pour the caramelized sugar in serving dish.

    3. Beat the eggs and egg yolks and sugar together with vanilla essence.

    4. Add milk while stirring.

    5. Pour the custard over the caramel. Cover with foil.

    6. Place the custard bowl in a steamer and close the lid. Simmer the custard for 10-15 minutes on low flame. Switch of the flame and leave it for another 5 minutes.

    Take out the pudding from steamer, turn upside down into a dish and serve warm or chilled.
