This Ginger Bread is packed with the fiber and iron from whole wheat flour and jaggery. The fresh and natural aroma of ginger and cinnamon will prove to be the healthiest and most satisfying cake you ever had.

1.5 cup whole wheat flour, 2 tsp ginger paste, handful of golden raisins, 1 tsp cinnamon powder, 1⁄2 tsp baking soda, 1⁄2 tsp baking powder, 1/4th cup curd mixed with 1/4th cup water, 1⁄2 cup oil, 3/4th cup powdered jaggery, 1⁄2 cup water
1. In a bowl mix whole wheat flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon powder.
2. Another bowl mix 1/4 cup curd and 1/4 cup water till smooth. Add oil and mix well. Mix in the flour mixture.
3. Mix jaggery powder in half cup pwarm water. Stir well to avoid any lumps.
4. Add the jaggery syrup, golden raisins and ginger paste in flour mixture.
5. Fold the ingredients well and make a smooth batter.
6. Pour into greased baking tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
7. Once done, remove the ginger bread from baking tray.
Slice the Ginger Bread and serve plain or with whipped cream.
