    Rice flour 2 Cups, urad dal flour 1/4 Cup, cumin seeds 1 tsp, white sesame seeds 1 tsp, salt to taste, butter 2 tbsp, asafoetida 1/4 tsp, oil for deep frying, water to knead the dough

    Steps to make Thenkuzhal Murukku:

    1. Mix all the ingredients except oil and water. Add water to make a soft dough.

    2. Heat oil for deep frying. Fill the murukku press with the dough and press it out in small circles directly into the hot oil.

    3. Fry till golden. Drain and serve.
