Yummy Butter Paneer

Paneer is a super food for all vegetarians as it is a good source of protein, calcium, and phosphorus, which is essential in the teeth development and bone growth. The recipe also contains fenugreek leaves, which contain fiber and certain vitamins and minerals. Fibre helps in improving digestion, which helps in easy passing of the stools.

    Ingredients to make Butter Paneer (1 serving )

    Onions - 50 G, tomato – 50 g, cream – 30 ml, paneer- 100 gms, butter -25 g, kasuri methi, salt to taste, spices (garam masala, coriander powder) to taste

    Steps to make Butter Paneer:

    1. Heat the pan add butter. Sauté the chopped onions till transparent and keep it aside.

    2. Saute the tomatoes and cook until soft.

    3. Blenderise the tomato and onion and cashews into a fine paste.

    4. In the same pan, add butter and some oil, add ginger and garlic paste. Cook until the oil is left out at sides of the pan.

    5. Add the pureed paste and the desired spices and salt to the pan and cook for a while 6. Add the paneer cubes and cream cook until done.

    6. Garnish with kasuri methi.

    Lip-smacking Butter Paneer is ready! It can be served with ghee rice, phulkasm as well as naan. Choice is yours!
