Clear Broth

Broths are great appetizers, which can be eaten just like that or used to prepare soups or gravies. Clear Broth can be prepared using a variety of veggies that are rich in vital vitamins and minerals. You can also add moong sprouts that are rich in protein. Flavour this broth with garlic, onions, and black pepper powder.

    Ingredients to make Clear Broth:

    ¼ cup each cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, capsicum, French beans, onion, celery, ¼ cup moong sprouts, 1 tsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp oil, salt as per taste, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 2 cups water

    Steps to make Clear Broth:

    1. In a vessel, add oil. Add crushed garlic. Saute for 2 minutes. Add all the veggies and moong sprouts. Cook the veggies for 3-4 minutes.

    2. Add 2 cups of water and simmer for 30 mins.

    3. Run the mixture through a strainer.

    4. Clear broth is ready. Add salt and black pepper.

    Enjoy this tasty, nutritious and clear broth.
