Avinya is a Sanskrit word that means “innovation”. True to its name, the Avinya is Tata’s attempt at creating the next generation of electric vehicles. It is said to have spacious interiors, the latest technologies and artificial intelligence features. Its key design elements include slim front DRLs, butterfly doors and a translucent sky dome. The Avinya is screenless. Yes, you heard it right! It does not have an infotainment display. This is a purposeful design choice so that the driving experience is devoid of distraction. Also, it offers a fast charging technology that gives 500 km of range with just 30 minutes of charge time.
